Welcome to Mayhem Kennels!

Hello and Welcome to Mayhem Kennels. We are Meredith Katz and Jeff Stevens. We are a confirmation show kennel located in Oldsmar, FL. At this point, we are just getting started as our first show puppy, a bearded collie, was born March 7, 2002 by Osmart Best Foot Forward at Chaniam (aka Strider) out of Geililand Tiara at Chaniam (aka Tiara). Below is a picture of the boys at one day old. This litter has seven black (with white markings) boys. Chantal, the owner of Chaniam Kennels and my friend and mentor, calls them the "seven dwarfs".

For now, Jeff and I will only be showing Bearded Collies until I am able to convince Jeff that he should get a show quality Bloodhound (his breed of choice). Currently, Jeff and I are EXTREMELY active in breed rescue for Bearded Collies, Bassett Hounds and Bloodhounds. We both enjoy this work tremendously and rarely have a problem with the fact that our "real work" paychecks goes to support this hobby. We have truly gone "to the dogs".
